Was wondering if anyone is building the Scenic Ridge layout, or if they were, what type of track and turnouts would they use? I plan on the layout being permanent with the possible addition of another module later. Even have thoughts of converting the layout to DCC later. My experience level - entered model railroading as of Jan. this year. Decided on N-scale and have been having a ball ever since http://www.trainboard.com/biggrin.gif

I stumbled on a site yesterday where the guy is building it. He has photos of his construction in progress.

Thanks for the pointer to the site. I liked his presentation very much and one thing it has started me to think is that maybe flex track would be the way to go as opposed to the Atlas kit. I had almost decided that I would use the Atlas kit but change my mind until I had some advice from you more experienced types. Thanks again Prey59 http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif
