Track Cleaners - Again!

No, Harold, didn't get the wet roller, but am so impressed by the system, I will order another (50' car this time) and get the wet roller for this. May finish up with several, to run in regular trains. No more track cleaning by hand http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

Although I find that if trains are run regularly, track stays a lot cleaner, but is awful after a period of inactivity.

Glad you liked the Aztec track cleaning car. It makes me feel I did something right for a change.
I didn't get the wet roller, just got an extra dry roller for later years.
I run it each day or so in with a MOW train and use different motor power to pull. That gives me the chance to use all the idle engines sitting around on my layout and keep them in better running order.

Eddie, yes we all have more engines than we need, I guess. I do at the moment, as lots of track has still to be laid, when it is I will need more cars to employ those locomotives . . . .

Don't you use the wet roller at all? If not, the dry roller obviously does the job for you. Thought I would use a wet roller to get the (neglected) track cleaned up, then maybe the dry roller used regularly would keep it clean. What do you think, before I place another order?

I will have to look for that Aztec rail cleaner. Up to now I use the old way of placing a piece of masonite under a box car. It works but you seem to have found a better way.
