Has anyone out there used JnJ shells? I have heard some bad things about them like they(the people that run the company) take forever to fill orders. Is this true? What is the quality of the shells? I think JnJ would do more business if they had some pictures at there web site.
Thanks.....Craig

About a year ago I purchased a F45 shell and a kato chassis for it and was very pleased. It did take a while for the railings to arrive but I was pleased. They are fairly detailed and gave me the opportunity to model my favortite loco. John is available on Tuesday nights at the number on his web site and seems to be really nice. He does try to sell you everything he can though. I guess I can't blame him.

I also bought a F45 shell, to mate with a Kato SD45 chassis, to make a Santa Fe SDF45.
It came out very well. The number of shells listed by JnJ was huge, and I ordered some more types, but the company has recently changed hands, and he emailed us a list of things that were actually available - it was a fraction of the size of the original! Seems like the original list was more of a 'wish list' than a stock list. We were told that some of the ones we had ordered had not yet been developed.
We order new Kato locomotives from them, as even after paying import duty VAT and shipping, they are cheaper than purchasing in the UK!

Thanks guys! I pretty much had a hunch that some of that stuff hadn't been made (maybe that explaines why there aren't any pictures available)
Thanks for the help!.....Craig

This website also has shells! They said that the company has changed hands but should be getting shells real soon. Check it out. It has quite a few shells!
