Now I've started a little project, installing switch stands at Third Street Industrial District (http://www.railimages.com/gallery/album393).

At first, I installed the wire "bar".

Next step, testing the switch stand. When the wire is glued and hard, testing the 90 degree turn.

The paper "target" shows the correct turn.
Now the switch stand can be glued!

You see, I have still to paint the top of the bar! I should have done it earlier. smile.gif

The rod got a brass sheet linkage.

At my homepage "switch stands" (http://www.westportterminal.de/switchstands.html) you see moveable switch stands at Plywood District. The turnouts there are from Peco, code 75. But it will work with the new code 83, too. Look at the pictures there.
