ATHEARN 2-8-2 GENESIS HELP?

HI
Need your help. New 2-8-2 motor runs and wheels don"t turn. Suspect worn is spinning
on motor shaft. How do i remove shell/boiler
to get at it?

Just read further down on this page, of another person with what appears to be the same problem you have. Something is going on here. Possibly you should consider returning this to Athearn for repair.

Problem solved for the monemt.
Dealer has offered replacement loco.
Still would like to know how to remove shell in the future.
