Nice, what were those models?

I don't know if you've ever checked out Charles Biel's site but he has a listing of all the GP39E/M/Vs and their heritages...

Pretty handy for what unit was what.

GP39E is number 2761 ex sou and NS #2585
GP39M is number 2892 ex cotton belt number #6519

the GP30 was a bachmann spetrum unit and has been repowered, if it wasnt to run with my B30-7AB which is also a repowered bachmann unit it would have been a dummy
the GP35 is a dummy railpower on athearn frame

i am also going to convert my Kato GP35 into GP39V #2974 as very little chopping up needs doing to it, just the removal of the central rad fan.

Great looking models, Matt. Thanks for posting. I've saved the pics for future reference as I have a couple GP39E/M/V's earmarked for building in N after my TC&W units are completed.

Don't forget to show the finished products when done. http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

thanks gary http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

i will be able to get them finished as soon as these parts arrive, i only found out recently that the detail assioates air tanks i am waiting for have not yet been made! but are in the 2000 walthers catalog http://www.trainboard.com/mad.gif

the GP39E will have the pin stripes the GP39M wont.

im thinking about what i should do next.... maybe a SD38P and TEBC-6 set, just have to find a concor SD35 as the starting point for the 38 and a P2K SD9 for the slug, but that wont be soon...
