Railshop.com

[Interwest]

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone on here had ever ordered from Railshop.com.
I ordered about $200 worth of locomotives about 3 weeks ago, and they have not been delivered to me yet. http://www.trainboard.com/mad.gif Neither has my credit card been charged (as of yesterday).
They sent me an email 3 days after I placed my order telling me "...your order will be shipped later this week....". http://www.trainboard.com/rolleyes.gif
How long did it take any of you to recieve your items??

I NEVER buy on line, however, I heard bad things hapening with RailShop.com, AND even E Hobbies. I guess it is bound to happen with so many transactions per day.

You should contact railshop directly and ask the status of your order. In many cases the items you order are not actually in stock. Once the company gets an order they order from their supplier.

In regards to BCRailKing's comment about never buying online, I always buy online. The only store online that I have ever had a problem with was Internet Hobbies. They lied to me about the availability of items I ordered. When I found out I cancelled my order and haven't done business with them since. I really like A+Plus Hobbies. Most items are discounted 30% and if you sign up for their preferred customer program (free) they take off 5% from your total order.

I have not yet had any dissatisfied customers, and most of my sales are on line. All orders are acknowledged immediately, another email is sent when the order is shipped, and I ask that they contact me when it arrives - usually 4-5 days later. It all works very smoothly, and have been commended as being among the best of 'e-commerce'!

I like good service, so I want to give it, also.
