whats do you think the best ever product produced in HO is? dont have to be just locos

i think the best one is proto 2000 locos, its hard to narrow it down to just one of them as they are all good.

Favorite things.
Not in any special order
1. Flywheel can motors
2. Kaydee couplers
3. Central Valley trucks
4. NMRA conformance warrants
5. Tortoise switch motors
6. Allen Gartner's Wiring for DCC board
7. All the people that are on the web and exchanging ideas.
8. Brass locomotives
9. My wife who says: why don't you go and play with your trains.
10. My daughters who say: Dad this is an awsome layout.
enought for now, probably more to come.

I think it's hard to beat the "Heritage Series" Proto 2000 Mallet 2-8-8-2 loco. It is a superb model for the money and runs like a watch. It even negotiates my sharp curves without a hitch.

The Spectrum 2-8-0 out of the box runs smooth and slow with no binding. Best engine we have every seen of about the 100 or so here the guys own, brass or plastic. A pleasure. Everything all the guys said in the newsgroups are true. Get one...
