Athearn to Make "Big" Announcement

Word on the Internet is that Athearn is to make a major announment in the coming week. A few people on the Athearn e-mail list have gotten a message saying that they will be alerting their distributors first, and will then make an announcement to John Q. Public later this week. Are there any ideas as to what this big announcement could be? Some have said either a SD70MAC or a F59PHI with matching commuter cars. Then again, this could be just another one of those nasty Internet hoaxes. Have any of you recieved this alleged e-mail? What are your thoughts on this issue?

I'm betting on it being F59PH/PHI units and matching Bombardier Bi-level cars. But they could totally shock us with the SD50/60 they said they were planning on doing oh-so-long ago.

Yeah I got the e-mail. it didn't say however what the announcement will be. I guess we will have to see what it is
