What is the most commonly available rail code available in S Scale? The one most people use. The easiest to find in stock... ?

Shinohara is available and uses code 100 rail. The Tomalco may or may not be around. If you can find some old stock, buy it. The current owner is ill and wants to sell it. There is a buyer, but he isn't sure if it would be worth continuing to produce. SHS flex track can be ordered through Walthers, but it is 155# rail. Fine for a Pennsylvania layout. :D AM makes brass flex track, and it too, is a large rail suitable for AF equipment.

I have had good luck getting the Shinohara code 100 track from Heimberger/Scenery Unlimited. I am half way through a three week trip and taking a break in software testing. I am doing some layout planning in my head....
