This car has not been done in S. It is in the process of getting enough orders in to make a urathane kit. If it interests you, I can post the web page of the company planning on doing it.

These cars travel through out the US and Canada. There are some US railroads that own some also. I'm hoping that enough interest is shown to get this kit into production.

Speaking of hoppers- For those of us who model the mid-late 1960's, does anyone do a 4740 covered hopper in S?

If you are talking about the Pullman Standard center flow, no. I did see one scrach built and it looked good. That would be another kit that might make a go of it in urathane. I do like how you think though. :D

Yes. The Pullman car. It's presence would be mandatory for my time frame. Although I am still a big fan of modeling grain loading in 40' boxcars....

I remember grain coming into Central California in 40' box cars from the mid west until the Reagan years, 1980's. At that time, grain cars weren't in that high of demand and hoppers became the cars used. That was also the time that the PS-2 cement hoppers started disappearing.
