I figured we need some action here. What is your favorite caboose? Mine is the bay window. I grew up watching SP and WP bay window cabooses bring up the rear of the train. The first caboose I bought that didn't come in a set was a bay window. :D Now, besides the old Lionel stand by, K-Line has a nice one and MTH has three different versions of bay windows. Lets hear what yours is....

My personal favorite is the Lionel N5C "porthole" caboose originally cast in the '50's. Although I am a primary N scaler, I have a side scale of 2-rail O. I managed to pick a used O scale N5C Lionel for $5 at my LHS, and now one of my projects is to rebuild a plastic frame under it, detail it top to bottom, paint and decal, and add 2 rail trucks and Kadee couplers. It will of course, be a PRR with full antennae.
