Perhaps someone in or from the area will have an answer.... (FriscoBob? :D )

When was the Kansas City, Kaw Valley & Western RY reorganized as the Kansas City, Kaw Valley Railroad, Inc? And when was the KC, KVRRI abandoned?

Guess this is why I find seeking such dates to be so interesting. Sort of a railfans version of archaeology?

In the 1920s the line went into bankruptcy and was reorganized in 1929. This is probably the reason for the gap.

So the years 1920-1929, they must have been operating under the guidance of a trustee?
