I just ran across this picture today, I know the GN used electrics over the Cascades, but did they really have some Bi-Polars?????

Nope, those are definitely Milwaukee Road. No GN electric was Bi-polar, that I know of.

Thanks Hemi, no doubt a typo.

I'm sure the artist knows enough that this mistake was done somewhere else. That's definitely the Olympian Hiawatha Train 16, two Milw Bipolars, and the wrong Pass for GN...

That seems like something a model manufacturer would do, never mind that MILW used 3000V DC and GN used 11000V AC.

GN did have two HUGE electric's in addition to the boxcab "Y"Class and "Z"Class motors.
The "W" Class electric's built by GE in 1947 were 100 feet long and had a double ended streamlined carbodies.
The "W" Class electrics had a similar but different body than the MILW Little Joes.
