I have Xtrkcad, but it won't let me access the O scale libraries. Are there any other programs that would let me design a layout?

I'm thinking of making the switch to MTH Realtrax for a more permanent layout.

If I was doing 3-rail, I would give MTH Realtrax a serious look. Goes up to O-82! "O" trains would look real good on sweeping curves as wide as that.

XtrkCad may not be letting you access the O libraries because it is set to draw in another scale. From the toolbar, select "options," "layout" and see that it is set for O scale.

Thanks for the help. Now I have one other problem. I noticed on the Xtrkcad site the other day the link to download the MTH Realtrax library is down. Does anyone have the file that they can email to me? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sim Racin 14.

You may want to consider MTH Scale Track.

Check this link out.

The track planning program I use is www.rrtrack.com (http://www.rrtrack.com) for lionel fastrack, traditional and etc. Also for kato unitrack n-scale. It gives you a 3-d view of your layout too. Also buildings. Worth the money. You have to buy software and any libraries you need. Unless you do a package deal.

http://www.rrtrack.com/html/mth_railking.html I just checked it out and they do have MTH track.
