It must be something to do with getting involved in researching my prototype and other railroads, but I bit... I finally started buying railroad paper.
I now have on the way to me, several MILW passees from the 30's and 50's, and some forms.
My wife thinks I'm nuts. I think the stuff will look great framed in the layout room (note change from the word "office" to "layout room").
:D
When the stuff arrives, I'll share photos.

I think that's where I got the bug. My wife walked in the other night as I was spending my 3rd hour looking at the stuff on your site, making notes on a yellow notepad, and says to me "Why don't you just buy some?"
Silly wife!

"Silly wife?" She sounds like a winner to me! :D
I knew what flimsies were, long before I ever began collecting them. Then a friend gave me some. And, the rest is history... Thirty years of prowling fro those papers.
I'm away from home these past few weeks. If I were there, I could give you a link to a seller who often has Milw passes on auction. Usually very good prices.
