This is the catch-all forum for general railroad topics and news. Note that if a news item is specific to a particular railroad, it should be discussed in that forum (if one is available). This is also the forum for retired or former railroaders. Chat about the way things are now or the way they used to be. We especially appreciate hearing stories from days gone by so share them with us!

Class II Railroads are railroads that do between $20 million and $250 million worth of business per year. For a list of these railroads, enter the forum.
